Figurehead Guitars was founded by Ryan Corbett in 2018 in Los Angeles, California after working for other well known boutique guitar brands. Figurehead was originally created by Ryan when he sought to build himself a perfect bass for his multiple musical projects as a touring musician. While not touring on his free time he started taking in custom orders from other musicians who encountered his bass and loved the feel and looks of it.

All of our instruments are hand shaped and crafted the old fashioned way just like they were in the golden age of guitars of the 1950’s. That means each instrument feels and sounds unique and no two instruments are 100% identical. We personally hand select the lumber for our builds and hand age our parts.
